Tiger Woods, actual golf world No. 1 won his second tournament this year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on February 3,2008. Woods finished at 14-under 274 one shot over Martin Kaymer, talented golfer form Germany. It is third time he started season 2-0. "It's the ideal start isn't it? You play to win. So far, I've done that this year." said Woods. In his career he has won 62 on the PGA Tour and 13 professional major golf world championships. Each tournament has it's winner and it's losers. For Ernie Els it was a real tragedy. Now, he is in the middle of his three-year plan to overtake Tiger Woods as the world's No.1, but now it seems to be a lost cause. Els started final round with one-shot lead over Henrik Stenson and had a chance to force playoff. But lately, all went wrong and after second ball ended in the water 38-year South African walked starring at the ground. Tiger Woods is ranked one of the best golf players of all time. He has been named Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year four times and Golf Digest predicted him to become the world first billionaire athlete in 2010. Woods aroused the interest in golf, which most of people considered to be insular, among the multicultural audience, doubled attendance and TV ratings. Tiger Woods started this year with two wins as well as in year 2000 and 2006. Now he has few days to decide whether he will play The Northern Trust Open at Riviera or he will not return until Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona, begins February, 20.
